Where r the web site with coupon codes that work for software or hardware?
It seems like some sites do coupons really good or real bad. Watch which county you are ordering from when it comes to hardware since warranties are rarely international (some notebooks) unless you like carrying a monitor on a plane - yes in your lap- IBM:)
Software is different since it doesn't care. I look for price, language format, etc. then to see where it is actually originating from. Most major vendors go through companies like Digital River which specializes in downloads (hundreds of thousands a month) so you may see an Adobe download appear as DR on your credit card. The companies that provide the coupon code as an extra incentive for you’re to buy from their site (use their linkcoupon code) have negotiated a special price for you over and above their own stock download price. If you really want what you paid for (not a virus laden, maybe working stolen copy) don't be surprised if you see no reference to the actual software supplier. In other words, I expect to be on the Norton site when getting Norton 360 and to get to apply my coupon code before finalizing my order. Yes, you should not have to play tag trying to figure out what he coupon is only to get dragged into screen after screen of crap. Sites like c net- two cows- pc mags track every move you make in exchange for personally identifiable infomake you go for hoops just spend a few moments with their precous software- then you can't save your work:( You should only need to deal direct with the vendor once in order mode or even the freebies. Decide upfront how much info you are prepared to part with to get a so shareware, limited trial, freebee- Very rarely do they come without consequences- files left all over your machine, unusual pop-ups, constant reminders to buy, key loggers, etc. Even if you uninstall and delete all their files from Program files. Entries will be buried in your Registry for ever dragging down your system.
